I bought my Zotac 1060 last time for only 250 and these days, even the 1050 is not exactly cheap, going for around $180 (and 2nd hand selling close to brand new price).

anyone thought of buying direct from newegg/amazon? or any other local deals that i have not seen yet??

Normally you won't find much of a good deal after the festive period. Amazon is no longer that attractive without free shipping. Just wait for the time being.

I paid an extra 20 USD for a evga 1050ti 4gb back then.

Back then amazon's evga gtx 1050 prices ranges from 99usd to 119 usd. Prices was fluantuating and @ 99 usd with free shipping to singapore is very attractive prices. Now no more fssg and its @ 139usd.

Shopee once even had the gtx 1050 selling at only sgd 13x-14x. Now hard to find this prices already.
