i am trying to add on ringtone/music to my iphone 5 ios7

but when i press the tick to add it this windows pop out asking me if i want to delete everything off my phone...i chua sai...i trying to add on not remove all and add

from my understanding, this is correct..

suppose your iphone had 100 songs
and your desktop has the same 100 songs and 5 more songs

unless your music was synced earlier (i.e. the tick already there), then you can add the 5 songs

else when you tick the box for the first time, what itunes does is remove all 100 songs from iPhone and put back 105 songs

hope it's not confusing

i don sync music using itune, i use another software.
because itune playlist management sux
as well as the naming for chinese song also sux


previously i doesnt have this issue

yes itunes will delete your music inside your phone...

ok...i guess ios 7 force me to use itune 11 to tranfer song now...

gonna spend time to create playlist liao...

my other software auto create playlist by album and remake all the ()&*^%& chinese character with a proper chinese name. which itune doesnt

"auto create playlist by album " -- itunes does this too, just that they used Albums instead of showing it as a playlist. isn't this better?

for illegal chinese char, there is a utility to auto correct these as a plugin in itunes, i can't remember it off hand right now
