Latest nvidia drivers introduced random black screening

May i know the ram speed as well(*before and after)? It was also with this topic that the intel cpus have issues handling high speed ram (7000-8000)? Hardware Unboxed recently talked about this on their podcast where they had to dial back their ram speeds because it was unstable.

Ur monitor issue hopefully will be fixed with this. If it still sticks around, your hdmi/DP cable might not be functioning well since your 1080p monitor does not have any issue with this black screen problem

I feel so dumb right now. The whole time I was resetting my PC non stop trying desperately to get to safe mode just to run DDU, it made my ram unstable.

After I finally ran DDU, installed the last known stable drivers, there was still random black screening but not as much. Then today, I thought to myself, how about I get a new DP cable to test since the one that I'm using for my 1440p monitor is a really old one that doesn't even have a brand. I plugged in the new DP cable to try and in the past 4 hours, not a single black screen incident. Gaming on my main 4k monitor while watching videos on the other one at the same time, no black screens.

So the root of the problem was just a faulty DP cable the whole time. Facepalm. Nothing to do with the Nvidia drivers.

Anyway I'm a first gen DDR5 adopter, my CPU is an older 12th gen. I resolved the game crashing issues by dropping my ram speed from 6400 to 6200. That one game is just that CPU demanding. Passed tem5 with no errors. CPU temps dropped a fair bit too. Previously when playing that one game, my CPU temps were in the 80s consistently and it hit 90 once too. That is when I'm running on the kit's rated ram speed. Too hot for comfort.

Err.. not say faulty DP cable.
DP cable in my own experience, you have to find a good quality which is difficult.
So far I only can recommend Elecom Displayport which is expensive but at least
it is least prone to issues.

Some motherboard like ASUS if the DP cable got issue, it will show D6 error.
Cheaper one really is have to play around, Dell OEM DP cable are also OK
but Dell DP cable only come with their monitor.

Ugreen display cable works good for me and Yongkit here. He is using the ugreen HDMI 2.1 and i and using the ugreen display port cable.

Yongkit did a lot of test on his ugreen HDMI 2.1 and it turns out to be one of the best HDMI cable around.
