For Intel: Ivy Bridge/Sandy Bridge (Socket 1155)
For AMD: Everything ( The AM3+ and FM2 sockets have been around long enough for the motherboards to still have Windows XP support. Even FM2+ motherboards comes with Windows XP drivers.)

Just curious though, why XP? Not scared later kena hack/virus?

ahh....thanks for the reply.
why xp? i need to run multiple instances of the same program on the booted a/c so that i can switch thru them easily. on win7, i must switch to another user a/c to run another instance of the program. I believe it's a windows architectural change since vista. therefore lan lan must use xp.
i can't find xp drivers on amd site anymore. so now have to search thru the m/b websites to ascertain they have xp drivers?
