It does happen earlier also. The coins mission is only 5/5 and I always have to merge more than 5 times if I tapped too fast.

Tonight you try to merge, pause a bit then merge again and see. I try to do the mission slowly coz my board already very crowded and there's no event for merge boss now.

Actually it was always the last merge count to drop regardless of 4/5 from coins mission or 9/10 from Lazzie Star task, at least for my case.

Anyway I shall try to do it slowly once the count reaches 4/5 or 9/10 and see if it works for me or not.
