my trusted Samsung 2232GW isnt functioning.
It use to flicker for like 30 min before it stops and function normal.
Now it just flickers whenever i try to power it on and stays in a black screen.

is there any pros here who knows how and is willing to fix this for a small fee?

Thanks in advance.

As a guru and a pro, I suggest buying from lazada. New 1080p monitors are <$160 nowadays.

Or you can take the risk and buy second hand 1080p screen for <$80 on the hwz marketplace or carousell

RIP repairman industry in Singapore. FT are really talented nowadays and you need $$$ to get one that knows how to do stuff, while old sinkie unkers are busy exercising.

Repairing this is not difficult, but not worth repairing unless you DIY.

DIY lo. Open it up and see which caps become bloated. Just be careful, don't get caps discharging on you. :o

If logic board failed then nothing can be done.
If power board failed then there is a chance that the capacitors have failed.

Open it and see if there is any bloated capacitor(red arrow).

If there is bloated cap, take out the board and bring it to Sim Lim Tower. It cost less than $1 per piece.

Important ! Use your handphone and snap some pictures before you desolder the bad capacitor. It important that you put back in the same polarity. Put in the wrong polarity, it will pop.;) It's power board that you are dealing with. :D
