"Radeon is slighty slower than custom oc'd 970 but beats stock 970"

"Reference model we had in test was pretty bad in terms of oc, it overclocked by 5%"

If true then it's a little disappointing. I might have to start looking out for the 1060 as I'm looking for something along the lines of 980 performance.

Old vs New:
970 = RX480
980 = ??
980Ti/Titan X = 1070

About right?

still just keep waiting for more other reviews.

Lol. Not even close to true.

Looks like we can expect a royfrosty RX480 review once NDA expires.

In between 970 and 980. Above the 970 by 10% slower than 980 by a few %. But with high overclocking room it is a little more faster than 980.

Teasers...

Considering that the card will be officially released tomorrow, there is no need to speculate further. Just go to bed early and wait for review tomorrow.

I feel the results on this looks quite dubious. Even the result on R9 380x looks too close to an overclocked GTX 970.
