my story evolves from the fact that i had some japanese penpals and in some way, it assisted me in understanding the culture of the language and also the slang usage of the language even though it is not tested in JLPT...

and my comrade friends who i learn jap with during poly days are now all armed with advance knowledge of japanese like the experts here in HWZ while i am still learning basic....

any one can recommend any good book for beginner(studied for half a yr) to learn on the japanese Grammar structure.
sweet_vanilla how much is the dict and is it both eng and jap?
