would appreciate if anyone could help to explain the usage of the 6 forms. this was taught from bunka
1. nai-form , to make sentences negative
2. masu-form, generally used ,for formal occasions
3. dictionary- form, for informal occasions.
4. conditional form- to ask advice from listener
5. volitional form- speaker's plan, thought or idea
6. te- form- 1. Request Eg: miTE kudasai (please look)
2. Present progessive form -iru/imasu( formal)
Eg: Hirugokun o tabeteiru ( im having lunch)
3. To decribe a habitual action and condition
4. Listing successive actions, used to connect 2 or more verbs
Eg: Hachi-ji ni okite gakkou ni itta ( I got up at 8 and went to school)
5. Asking permission
Eg: Teribi o mite mo ii desuka(May i watch tv)
Am i correct in the explaination of the following verbs? these are gathered through various websites and the messy textbook doesn't really help much.
