So does SG have N1 n N2 in july?

Sorry to say that, over here, we don't have a large population of ppl learning Japanese that justify them holding a July paper here. Even for Dec paper, there are maybe only a few hundred of ppl taking level2 and 1 annually ?

Might not be pre-advanced. In Japan, most students only attend half day school (a.k.a 4 hours).

4 x 5 days=20 hours

20 hours x 8 weeks=160 hours.

Maybe N4...

I meant entry level Pre-Advanced 1, for those who finish N4, or finish Intermediate levels, but definitely got to sign up for class straightaway coming back, if not, the benefits from all that immersion will be gone within a few months.

Actually currently Taiwan's website already state there will be N3 in July, but no information on how non-resident foreigners can sign up there. China's website however, can't seen to find anything on both info [ if there's N3 and non-resident foreigners can take part ].

Website for Japan, does state that it's possible to go there to take part, but you have to get a someone staying there to help u register [ in order to have a local address ], but states that N3 is for Dec only. HongKong, also allows us to go there to take part, register online but need to get someone locally to pay the registration fee [ the other alternative is to fly there and register personally ], but no mention about N3 in July. I don't know about Korea, cause I don't know Korean yet.

All the websites stated only have info on Dec 2009, still not updated yet. But if JLPT Foundation says there will be N3 in July for all 5 locations, then that's great.

Maybe the speaking ability itself [ let's ignore the reading & writing components aside 1st ] gained from the crash course plus environment there will qualify her for it, who knows, she may even be able to speak better than us by the time she comes back.

sorry for my poor understanding of Japanese but I find this term interesting too, will give it a try

1) "sayounara" = farewell ???

2) what i understand is this word is not commonly use ? unless of cause you are sure you wont be seeing that person anymore ? or at least not for the distance future ? example ? u say sayounara / farewell to someone who had just passed away ?

please correct me if i am wrong , thanks

Question 2 is asking name 3 occasions u will use さようなら

Whether they are going to meet or not, it is not in the equation.

For those who are thinking of going Japan, but no money/budget to go. This is an announcement. I am going to do some charity work and subsidy 1 person. Yes, only 1 person to go to Japan with me and some other friends of mine (person will be selected either from here or another forum)

If I am not wrong, さようなら is not used very often during daily leaving and parting.
Usually you will hear, じゃねbye bye, じゃまた,　じゃまたあしたね
