As usual, sent 4 students for JLPT N2. 100% pass. 1 student got full marks for N2.
All other levels also passed the various levels. Congratulations to all who passed.

For those who failed, analyze where you got wrong. Improve and move on.

Work at the travel agency has been tiring, but enjoyable. The company values a lot about having a personal touch with customers and i am glad to be part of the family.

I would like to thank my students for being understanding and supportive of me and my bosses for allowing me to teach on Sunday.

Cheers,

Can

Do I need to get どんなときどう使う日本語表現文型辞典 if I already have the Dictionary of Japanese Grammar series? What is the difference between どんなときどう使う日本語表現文型辞典 and 日本語文型辞典 [書籍]?

the explanation is different.

i find that どんなときどう使う日本語表現文型辞典 is kinda of clearer (short and sweet) is terms of explanation. Just list down what you need to know.
Dictionary of Japanese Grammar series is more in depth, but the explanation sometimes kill people...
日本語文型辞典 is about the same as Dictionary of Japanese Grammar series.

Hi guys, wishing you all a Happy CNY in advance. Hope all of us continue to excel in our Japanese studies.
By the way, i wanted to show you guys this. Hope you guys can find some similiarity between the alphabets and the scores, which i will explain to my students in private...
apart from two of the N1 and one of the N4 (the one that failed N4 havent finished syllabus for N4, but look at his score for vocab, grammar and reading), the rest are my students scores...
especially the N2. v ez to see the relationship through the difference in the marks and the alphabets

Hi bros, sorry if this question has been asked but there's over 600 pages in this thread.

I'm considering taking up Japanese just to build up a basic in another language beyond our usual 2 languages. From what I have research so far, Ikoma, Hougang and Bunka are 3 of the popular ones.

What are the pros and cons of the schools and perhaps other recommendations? Thanks

日本語文型辞典 is about the same as Dictionary of Japanese Grammar series.

Any recommendations on good Japanese dictionary and reference books for beginners to get in Japan? Had just started to take lessons again recently. Only had a Japanese-English dictionary from Kinokuniya SG 18 years ago.

Heading there next week.
