So far, I know that the word "what" can be either in なに or なん.

There's a rule of when to use なに & when to use なん.

FYI, its Kanji is 何.....

As I mentioned in my previous post, zen zen is supposed to be used with negation but nowadays it can be used with positive statements depending on the situation due to the changing nature of language. 全然だめ、全然大丈夫、全然OK are acceptable usage in speech for instance.

いいえ、ぜんぜん走りますよ。
No, this car still runs all right.

This isn't correct.　If you want to use grammatically correct Japanese you cannot use the ぜんぜん in front because it's not a negative sentence

BUT if you want to use colloqiual Japanese I think you can say ぜんぜん走れますよ. Here the ぜんぜん = とても.

ここは小さい町なので、外国人はあまり　。。。。。。
１）「見ません」
２）「見えません」
３）「見ます」
４）「見つかります」
It's 1 right? Not 3?

Ａ［日本で英語を教えたいので、日本語を勉強したほうがいいですか？」
Ｂ［日本に。。。。。、勉強したほうがいいです。」
１）住むと
２）住んだら
３）住むなら
４）住めば

I don't know about the origins of やばい but やばい is traditionally used for bad situations. However, it's nowdays used for very good situations as well. Just think of やばい as something similar to the word "wicked". Wicked is supposed to be used for bad situations, but in slang form it means great/awesome.
A more slang pronunciation of やばい is ヤベー. But this pronunciation can be extended to a lot of い endings, like janee yo instead of ja nai yo.

For むずい I've heard it but not exactly sure where it comes from. It has the meaning of 難しい but also まずい so maybe it's a combination of both?

めんどい probably comes from 面倒臭い めんどうくさい which means troublesome, but has quite a few meanings.

In other words, all these are slang lar. Don't think too much about how they mean because the meanings will change depending on situation and over time

Then maybe the Japanese person is more correct? =) I don't use Japanese on a daily basis so the slangs are all based on what I've heard. So far I've only heard zenzen used with potential verbs (particularly ぜんぜんいけます) in the positive context.

My Japanese ペンパル wrote one sentence, which I have some problem with.

文：
日本では最近Halloweenという習慣が知れ渡ったから家でpartyとかをすることは
ほとんどないの。

Does the から here sounds weird with ほとんどない?
I can't really interpret the sentence because of the ending part.
I think its more in terms of "personal" instead of general, by interpreting from the next sentence..

誰が手伝ってくれませんか？
