Should be kono. Because you can place a noun [here, it is the watch] after kono but not kore.

Actually, I have thought of 2 ways of answering this question.

Unfortunately, you have not learnt 1 of the method yet as it is taught on chapter 10.

The other way which I have thought was:

へや に 木村さん が います か。

I understand that this is in lesson 10 & ahmahippo san have not learned this yet.

However, I would like to confirm is that, other than the sentence structre, its meaning is totally the same, right?

ah.... kanji spotted... lol...
sensei allow us to use kanji as she say it look nicer lol but ... the kanji words i didnt learn many myself...
so far i use basic one ... eg: love, one to ten etc.... and watashi in kanji...


btw, for this quest. can i use kanji?

That is asking whether Kimura is a room.

I believe this should be it.
