hi! I'm interested to learn JPN. I've borrowed my friend's JPN textbook and did some self-study. Basically I understand what the contents in the textbook. Is it possible to self-study for JLPT 4 and JLPT 3?

It's advisable not to do self study, as there are some important points that might come out in exam but not covered in a book.

It's possible, but you might end up not being able to say proper japanese.

I've been advising people here on hardwarezone ever since about 1 year ago... Everybody knows me, but i don't really know them...lol

i wonder is there any cd or sites that teach you on words to say? hmm... like eg: time... they will guide u by saying them correctly... coz so far if one never go lesson, and u trying to self learning a bit but it is hard when trying to think how to say them correctly... i found some at utube but not everything... so wondering if u came across such cd or site...

You mean those Japanese learning books? Or those type like literature / novel type of books?

I myself have bought the 漫画 "One Piece" and "Detective Conan" in Japanese Version. I have asked my 先生 before & it seems like I need to have at least JLPT 2 in order to understand what the contents.

But I can undertstand the contents which are quite simple [JLPT 3/4 level].

As for those children story books, I cannot comment as I have not seen the contents.

I knew about it... That's y i didn't buy it...

I got a SP6600 and bought extra CD to add in the japanese-mandarin dictionary+thesaurus.

Add up less than 400.
