I just went for the info session at JCS, but i felt the last part: asking the comers to sign up for their prep class, is a bit... =/

"If you join our prep class, then you will surely pass N...."

I was at the seminar too. That sentence had me LOL too.
Im still in Intermediate level so N5 will not be for me this yr.. maybe next Jul. I'll definitely attempt by next Dec.

Im abit disappointed that the JLPT prep course is on a weekday and such timing.. I work in the west, knock off at 6pm.. 100% cannot make it lor. Why didnt they consider weekend? Hopefully next yr they will hve the prep course on a weekend.

If u are at Intermediate, end of yr, u can take the paper. =)

hmmm. Used to be an intermediate student at JCS. never took N4 before but I believe JCS's JLPT prep class would help you in Grammar and maybe in listening. In addition, it would be advisable to get self-study JLPT books for N4 from experts such as dimitri_can.

Anyone know if Bunka's INT 2 is sufficient to take the JLPT N5 test?
just completed my INT2 and scored 91/100..

sigh..entering NS soon. and can only complete basic 2 by then.
anyone know what japanese books i can read that has hiragana words written with kanji?
I've been thinking how to retain my japanese language while i'm serving my ns or they will go into waste.
fansubbing for listening, perhaps. but this 2years, i can really brush up a lot in my kanji if i keep reading.

You can bring in Japanese books to read during your "admin" time for NS.

That's what I did. I brought in some language books and assessments to do. Currently learning French and Korean.

If you are in the JC batch, you will get a laptop!

You should try to continue your Japanese after you finish your BMT phase. Do it on a weekend, preferably Sunday morning or something.

personally, i find that Bunka's pace is rather comfortable for me.. its not really tough, its whether u understand what the sensei is trying to teach. if u do, then its easy
