Leave and off day

let say I want go oversea from 21-30th.

21 - birthday off
22-30 leave.
Since 21th is an off I can't go oversea, unless I apply leave. . Can I apply for half day evening leave that day instead of full day and fly off in the morning of 21th?

8am flight or midnight flight etc.

At the end of the day, this kind of thing is up to your boss. If you follow strictly the by right way, then what you planned to do is by right not allowed. But if your boss is ok to go by left it would be fine I guess.

There's nothing physically stopping you from going overseas. It's the procedural and formalities that is the invisible impediment.

As long as your boss, or more specifically the person who approves your leave is ok with it, you'll pretty much cover ur arse

its up to him to decide actually. he happy he can give u yr bday off any other day. he not happy u also LL.

It's all up to him. There's nothing stopping you from physically going.

But you must know that without him giving his blessing, for you to take leave in the afternoon and off in the morning just to fly, if he wants, he can always do something to you. So better cover your arse.

It's not a die die "off" means cannot travel overseas. Try to talk to your boss, at least let him know of your intended whereabouts.

The main issue with your boss not approving will be trust. If he can trust you not to get into any trouble then he will be more confident of letting you go. But if your track record so far hasn't been good, and you get into trouble while overseas, investigations will show that he let you go, and he will be in trouble for that. Not worth it for him.

dont think anybody will check except your own unit/ur encik. Hence as long as he is ok with you doing it, u should be fine since it doesn't make sense for him to go check on u doing what u told him you are going to do and which he is agreeable to.

So if he's fine with it, u should be alright. But u just need to make sure he doesn't bs u la
