Recently wanted this for birthday present, and done some research and found out this precious is selling hot and now out of stock...but is it really the official statement?

I want it so badly and simply because people all wanted this then I should probably follow the trend, so....
Unofficially buyers/ stores, do you have one for me? Looking for mint color... Can someone suggest local stores ?
P/S: went to several Leica stores, all said 2 to 3 weeks needed. I did consider looking at different regions perhaps Malaysia or shipping from US ? What do you think?
