Hi all, I have a lenovo s10-2 which i tried to restore to factory setting using the one-key recovery. but the recovery hanged after awhile and i have to choice but to reboot it but after doing it, i received the bootmgr missing error.

i did abit of searching and all solutions seems to suggest putting in the windows installation disc to repair or reconstruct the bootmgr. but s10-2 has the windows partitioned inside the hard disc so i do not have a external medium containing windows. accessing the bios itself yield no option to repair or anything similar.

thanks for all the help!

i tried all the methods but none is suitable.

wow! let me know if u still have it! thanks!

Confirm I still keep a old image on my desktop pc in year 2009. However it was backup via Acronis true image and file size is 5G plus. So may be not possible to file transfer to you.
