i wanted to get this too.. but yea quite ex. from what i gathered, as compared to the 2nd gen samsung charging pad, this do not seems to have any led light to tell u whether it is fully charged or not. the 2nd gen do have the led ring to tell u so.
Alternatively can get the Spigen one at half the price.

Actually i would discourage the use of wireless charging though.

It is not really wireless lol, it is actually just wire attached to the platform and you put your phone on it to charge.

It is called electromagnetic charging. Now the problem with this type of charging method is... Heat.

Heat kills battery life. If any one of you whom uses wireless charging you will know that the battery gets really hot. And in the long run, you will shorten your battery mileage further.

I would encourage the use of traditional micro usb charging. Not only it is faster, it does produce heat, but not too much.

I order directly after reading all the reviews are positive, seller will deliver to a courier company appointed by me from taobao for overseas buyer, I am using Prouter,, whom will ship to a Singapore courier company and they will deliver straight to my home address. 1st 1kg is 39RMB, I have made purchase over 100 items from Taobao without issue,.

By the time the battery die,its time to trade in the phone for upgrade. Normally handset will start having issues after 2 years even for flagship, my current 2 year old Sony Z2 will be traded in for S7, as the battery is having charging issue, my previous S3 was traded in for Z2, as after 2 years, it will power off itself after prolong usage.

My Asus Fonepad has to replaced the MB due to loose connection and not charging as micro USB is plugged in and out every time I charge it, luckily it's still within 1 year warranty.

Will be my first using the wireless charger, current Z2 w/o fast charging, fully charge will takes 3hrs and the battery feels extremely hot.

I believe S7 should be even faster with fast charging. I read from other review the Samsung Gen 2 wireless pad charge as fast as the cable, and there is an build in fan to cool the unit.

Wireless charging is always slower than normal cable charging. Magnetic field charging has a lot of energy heat loss.

So in reality it charges slower.

Here is more reviews.

http://www.androidauthority.com/best-wireless-chargers-compared-635559/

It takes a solid 2hrs 41mins to full charge for the Samsung wireless charger. Hot, slow, and redundant.

It's charging at a mere 6.5w region max. Where our adaptive fast charge through cable is 15w effective. Which is only 1hr 20mins to charge full.

Is the test using the first gen (w/o fast charging) or second gen (fast charge)? Samsung claimed the Gen 2 wireless pad is 50mins faster than Gen 1.
