u getting a dell machine ?

That depends on the points and rewards left. LOL.

Btw, their monitors have been at excellent price for the entry IPS ones. Got a lot for many people, and also one set of S2340L (the thing to get then) just for testing and diagnostics purposes. Maybe can consider monitor if other things run out...

Ok looks like the guy in the video is playing Augmented Shaper Demo (Disco Hands), that's why he was extending his arm and waving it.

How many tablets or cameras use Intel RealSense 3D tech so we can do photo editing like changing the focus ?

In fact there is many things out there that can be done with intel RealSense 3d camera.

Things like:

1. Realistic Avatars
2. 3D Scanning for 3D Printouts
3. Green Screening Without a Screen
4. Measuring Distances in Pictures
5. Photo Layer Editing and Focusing
6. Holographic Navigation

And a couple of devices from Dell are able to do it!

Are there any 3D printers that support printing from RealSense cameras yet ?

One of the benefits fro Dell Inspiron 24 7000 with Intel RealSense camera is that since it can detect depth, you need not use green skin behind you to remove the background for maybe video conferencing or live streaming. Using tech to save time and cost... :):)

Why is that feature called green screening ?
Not white or black screening ?

normally cinema also use green to put special effects at the back?

Oh looks like the reason is this:

The principal subject is filmed or photographed against a background consisting of a single color or a relatively narrow range of colors, usually blue or green because these colors are considered to be the furthest away from skin tone.[3] The portions of the video which match the preselected color are replaced by the alternate background video. This process is commonly known as "keying", "keying out" or simply a "key".

Processing a green backdrop
Virtual television studio with green-screen technique.

Green is currently used as a backdrop more than any other color because image sensors in digital video cameras are most sensitive to green, due to the bayer pattern allocating more pixels to the green channel, mimicking the human eye's increased sensitivity to green light.[6] Therefore, the green camera channel contains the least "noise" and can produce the cleanest key/matte/mask. Additionally, less light is needed to illuminate green, again because of the higher sensitivity to green in image sensors.[7] Bright green has also become favored since a blue background may match a subject's eye color or common items of clothing such as jeans.

It seems the depth cameras needed for Intel RealSense tech to work are expensive, so the tech will only appear on high-end PCs/tablets.

It’s these cameras, primarily made by Intel, that analysts and some PC makers believe will be too expensive to build into the sort of cheap PCs (with cheap webcams) that consumers prefer. It’s also unlikely that the depth camera modules will be installed within many new monitors accompanying desktop PCs. And, of course, they won’t be in the millions of existing Windows 7 and Windows 8 notebooks that will be upgradeable to Windows 10.

they should consider mass market production. Having a new technology is good but having a high price point deters alot of market foothold. no matter how good a tech is if there are no one using it, it is useless.

RealSense tech only works with Windows 10 ?
Not with Windows 8.1 or 7 ?

So far it only works with Windows 10 Hello due to Intel® RealSense™ Camera activating it. Probably in future it can work with more programs or Old Windows versions.
