The Possibilities Are Endless

With vending machines that can guess your sex and age, shop mirrors that change the colour of your outfit and touch-free interfaces in hospitals around the corner, Intel® RealSense™ will change your life. You'll be using 3D printers, creating art by swishing an imaginary paintbrush in thin air, measuring distances in pictures, and navigating your device with holograms. But we all know what you want to do more than anything is to have a go operating a drone, equipped with a 3D camera, which you navigate remotely through a forest. Throw that selfie stick away. Now.

The RealSense drone looks cool. Wonder how much it costs.
Would be useful if Amazon starts to deliver packages using drones.

Maybe the Windows Hello can be enabled only when the computer is locked ?
3D printers can print metal objects too ?
I thought only plastic items.

Still new to Windows Hello, later google to get more info.

Print metal objects ?? :eek::eek:

Thought 3D printer using plastic as raw material to print the 3D models. May be I am wrong too.

No One Can Take It Away From You

Hackers can crack passwords as easily as we forget ours. The True Key function allows you to truly personalise the way you unlock your device, by having your face as your password (maybe go for the fingerprint option if you have a twin). This innovative security system ensures your gadget will be useless to a thief. Although you could let them know that the range of products that feature Intel RealSense are surprisingly quite affordable…

Does the True Key function for RealSense work if you have a haircut or suffer a cut from the shaver or if you take off your glasses?

Found out a lot at this website.

In fact there is many things out there that can be done with intel RealSense 3d camera.

Things like:

1. Realistic Avatars
2. 3D Scanning for 3D Printouts
3. Green Screening Without a Screen
4. Measuring Distances in Pictures
5. Photo Layer Editing and Focusing
6. Holographic Navigation

And a couple of devices from Dell are able to do it!

Can the Holographic Navigation allow us to control everything using our hands and fingers like in the movies?

One of the benefits fro Dell Inspiron 24 7000 with Intel RealSense camera is that since it can detect depth, you need not use green skin behind you to remove the background for maybe video conferencing or live streaming. Using tech to save time and cost... :):)

Yes good for camouflaging your messy bedroom.
Using RealSense, other people will just see a clean background.

I've think of a good use of 3D RealSense Camera with Intel® RealSense™ technology and Windows Hello. They can start to scan different types of military models, and then use to track with fingers and hand movements to control them from the HQ. Like that NS can be down to <1year since every soldier will have a battalion of military robotic models loaded with full ammunition.

Then an intuitive user experience to bring imagination further is to build a rocket up to mars and moon lol.

Maybe in the future, tanks and planes can be 3D printed using RealSense.

Nobody can give me the answer? :o :vijayadmin:

good point.. maybe more CPU intensive programs like 3D modelling need better specs?

but as the dell venue 8 which is using Intel Atom processor can use realsense too.. I guess it still varies with what program you want to use

May be better hardware spec may get better quality or accuracy.

Processing speed will be faster as well ?!

Some bros mentioned Dell Inspiron 23 7000 and Inspiron 15 5548 model have Intel RealSense camera.

No idea if this applicable to Dell Inspiron 24 7000. :)

Some reviews stated the models do come with Intel RealSense 3D Camera.

Dell Inspiron 23 7000 and Dell Inspiron 24 7000 are almost the same except the monitor and graphics.

You misunderstood what I was asking:

I wonder the hardware spec for Dell Inspiron 23 7000 or Inspiron 15 5548 will affect the performance of Intel RealSense 3D Camera ?!

Anyway we will need to test it then will know the outcome ba..;)

The top prizes never include Intel® RealSense™ 3D Camera for this contest. Have to purchase Dell Inspiron 24 7000 with voucher.

A bit funny, Dell and Intel put so much of effort to promote Intel® RealSense™ 3D Camera & technology but none of the prizes got this. :s22::s22:
