The specs of the Dell Inspirion 15 7000 are great.
Will be better if the 8GB RAM is upgraded to 16GB and the 128GB M.2 SSD upgraded to 250GB or more.

I would choose DELL INSPIRON 15 7000 mainly because very used to laptop size. My first priority is portability and space saving, yet much more powerful than tablet (Dell Venue 8 7000)

Desktop (even AIO) takes up a lot of space imo maybe if i live in big bungalow or have many rooms/space to put all these gadgets then i wouldn't mind at all

Same thinking as me, but then I think 128 SSD more than enough for install OS Windows 10 with windows Hello, files can be save in HDD...Unless you are thinking to upgrade HDD to SSD..

I think its worth it. previously at COMEX 2015, Dell Inspiron 7000 cost $1,999 with these specs

i7-5500U
AMD R7 M270 4GB GDDR3
16GB RAM

although you get lesser ram but at least its 8GB

Based on my current requirements, i would choose Dell Venue 8 7000 or Dell Inspiron 15 7000.

The Intel RealSense with Windows Hello doesnt really appeal to me since im already using WOL magic packet to wake my PC when my mobile phone gets connected to home Wifi using Tasker.

Dell Venue 8 is tablet, so I wouldnt mind having an extra device which I dont own. It can take depth photos with distance so I guess thats an extra plus point to me.

For Dell Inspiron 15 7000, I dont have a laptop for school and admittedly it is quite troublesome when i appear emptyhanded when meeting for projects.

I too would choose Dell Inspiron 15 7000 but it doesn't have the Intel RealSense 3D Camera. I hope there is an option to add the camera into the laptop then can play with the Windows 10 Hello and the games shown in the videos.
