Ok. Seems the like dell inspiron 15 7000 has quite a few variants.

I would assume we are talking about the Inspiron 15 7000 Series (7559) here as this is the only variant with a full size keyboard.

Key features of the laptop:
6th gen intel i5/ i7 quad-core processors
NVIDIA® GeForce® GTX 960M 4GB GDDR5
6-cell 74Whr battery
LCD 15.6" Ultra High Definition LGD, Touch
Revolutionary thermal cooling design: two cooling fans, three exhausts and large vents with 240 thermal fins

Looking at the key features, can see that dell is trying to 通杀 (cover every aspects) with this laptop. Gaming will not be an issue on this laptop with the GTX 960M and revolutionary thermal cooling design in place. The stunning 15.6" 4K UHD display will be loved by consumers who spend their free time watching movies or tv shows. The Intel processors make sure you will have a smooth experience while using it at work or school to run intensive programs. The full size keyboard is also great for students and office workers (imagine u need to key in numbers frequently but you do not have the number pad). The backlit is also a nice touch, it makes it possible for you to see your keyboard without lights. The 6-cell battery also ensure a minimum up time of 7 hour! It is great for consumers like me as I often need to bring my laptop around to meet clients. I cant imagine if my laptop were to die out on me while Im doing my presentation.

I also like the way they design the removal of the backcover. It is way more convenient compared to other laptops. all you need to do is unscrew 1 screw. Thats it, you can then pop out the cover and have access to the key components eg. rams, hdd, sdd, wifi card and fans to do your upgrading and cleaning. The screw design is great because the screw is non removal, I have lost count on how many screws I have lost in the past while removing them from other laptops.

Only thing Im not happy with is the choice of material for the front cover, the matte finishing. It looks good when its new, never touched before. But with all matte finishing, it gets pretty ugly after awhile. its not resistant to scratches at all, and oil or sweat particles stay on it. if i were to get this laptop, first thing i would do is buy a cover or a skin to cover it.

With 2 fans as well, im not sure if the noise would be an issue if things get too hot. :|

The weight is also an issue. At 2.7kg, most females will choose to skip this laptop if portability is what they are looking for.

All in all, a great laptop that can caters to everyone's need, at an affordable price.

Free hu comprain? Dell Inspiron 15 7000

Yeah. Free VOUCHERS. Only the XPS 13 is given out as the top prize. For the Dell Inspiron 15 7000, free $250 discount VOUCHER if u win it. Still need to pony up at least S$1500 to buy the laptop. All the best :s13:

Boss I will recommend to swap out your daily coffee for a glass of lukewarm lemon water. Way more healthy without the caffeine and it sanitises your mouth and activates your metabolism. :) :vijayadmin:

Prefer coffee leh. :s22:

to be honest, touchscreen for laptop no one will really use. only those convertible laptops (e.g. surface pro, asus t100) then maybe still desirable.

This statement is so wrong. Just look at its high relevancy and practicality in schools, workplace, etc...

Dell Inspirion 15 7000 win MacBook over many areas. The Dell display is of better quality and has more ram. Better pixel density and better graphics card than MacBook.

But OS X El Capitan's DPI scaling is far more superb than that of Windows 10, for which the latter can really mar viewing experience.

Best way out is still install Hackintosh, have Mac OSX El Capitan running on the Dell 15 7000...:D

Dell XPS 13 dun have the Intel RealSense 3D Camera which i find it strange as the topic is abt Dell computers with Intel RealSense Technology based on the videos.

Dell Inspiron 24 7000 AIO should be the top prize followed by Dell Inspiron 15 7000 with 4K UHD touchscreen and with the option of having Intel RealSense 3D Camera.

I seconded this. :)

Dell should make Inspiron 24 7000 AIO as the top prize followed by Dell Inspiron 15 7000 4K UHD touchscreen and with option of having Intel RealSense 3D Camera.

I believe next week we will be talking about Alienware Alpha... :look:
