Seems like this is the lowest. I asked at Courts and was told $7899. Will buy immediately if $6999

Wait till next year 2025, when they’re release new G5 replacement. Confirm can have better price on G4 77” would be lower than 6.5k

Best Denki seller on carousell already posted for 6999, can negotiate till 6.7 or so. TVs are fast depreciating stuff in sg, just wait may 2025 the tv will be like 5k or so.

Thanks for sharing. To think that Courts is selling at $7899. Lucky I decided to reconsider and search for lower price.

Looks like I can finally retire my LG OLEDE6, been a good 8 years.

I think I will not wait. By then, I may decide for G5 price to drop.

After this upgrade, the next buy will probably be when micro led tvs become widely available at reasonable price. Now the price is ridiculous. Can buy a car instead. lol

Hi all,

Just want to post in this group of my personal experience with LG OLED tv.

My LG G3 tv suddenly had a blue line at the bottom of the screen one day and when the LG technician brought the panel to change, he straight away scan all the corner for damage. Seems like its a common occurrence the corner will easily be damaged.

Lo and behold, he found a very very small crackline which I didn't notice before and straight away tell me this is considered as user physical damage, the 5 year warranty is not applicable, out of own pocket repair is 3k for the panel while I purchased the tv for 3.6k only a year ago.

After the technician left, I went online to do some research and it seems that its not an isolated issue when reddit also have a couple of people saying their TV suddenly have crack line at the corner without anyone touching it, LG also refused their warranty claim.

Seems like its an inevitable manufacturing defect which will happen eventually down the road but LG is just brushing it off as "user damage". So if you plan to get LG OLED because of the 5 year warranty, might want to reconsider again because of its fragile nature.

I have this exact same issue for my LG C2. Now I can't even turn on my TV. I thought the damage was due to my own fault which I didn't realise (https://forums.hardwarezone.com.sg/threads/damaged-77-oled-repair-or-replace.7077798/), but after reading your post, I'm having second thoughts. In the end, what did you do?

Suck thumb and moved on to other brand TV. While LG OLED is supposingly best for its picture quality, I wish that could be said to their TV reliability. It is fragile as heck and the delay/gap from the physical damage to the breakdown makes it easy for LG to just put a blanket statement that they don't cover physical damage even if its no fault of yours.

Anyone got the B4 over the C4, any thoughts for B4? I still finding it hard to convince to get a C4 at $3k. I have seen RTINGS review and seems like the scores are too close. The price diff in SG between these two models is almost $400

What is difference between G4 and M4 series. is it worth spending extra for m4.
The difference is the ports connections for M4 will be via a standalone transmitter box that will wireless transmitted and communicated to the TV. As for the G4, the ports connections will be at the back of the TV as usual.

I got the LG OLED G4 65 inch TV on Lazada during 11.11 sale.

After using store and platform vouchers it is $3,339. Citibank SMRT Credit Card's rebate is 5% off the purchase price. Total damage: $3,172.05.

Free $200 grocery vouchers + $299 worth of LG speaker or Earbuds from LG.
