83G5 $9,400, rrp $11,999

rubbish rrp lol. At least the street prices are closer to international US prices now.

Launch street prices are lower than last years 77G4 and 83G4 prices, which are $8,200 and $10,800.

Think US tariffs will definitely have an impact on the profitability of LG, and South Korea’s economy need more foreign reserves now. Believe by end of the 2025 we will likely see:

77G5 below $6,000 new set
83G5 below $7,300 new set

My tv wall is around 2.7m long. However around 0.6m will be storage so leave with around 2.1m. Feel like having a 65inch will cover the whole feature wall instead. My living room 2.6m wide. So I will be sitting away around 2.3m.

Well my wife dont allow me for 65inch As she said will cover the whole wall thus not allowing much space to the side. So was rejected.

Yes brought her to see G4 55 BS 65. She only wants 55inch haha. As she feel 65inch is too big for the wall since the wall is only around 1.8m long after using storage for the side. As she currently watch on her phone so she dont think of it much

just tell her 65 la. 1.8m got space out 77 Liao. Don’t recommend 55 inch, not worth. But ok la if no choice then 55G4 lol.

Screen tech is totally diff. G5 is first time using quad stack tandem Oled. G4 is just MLA tech. Can’t compare, online says that because overseas price for G4 is way cheaper.

for example: 77G4 clearance is 2k usd, here clearance still 6k + sgd. of course to them G4 more worth.
