Anyway, Pro 2 is good that a root and custom ROM is not needed as far as performance is concerned!:s22:

Well, everyone requirement is different.
FYI the root access for the LG G Pro2 was not meant for tweaking of performance which the stock rom itself is sufficient :s22:

The root access is an requirements for my scheduled daily data backup via titanium backup. It is also an requirement for recovery purpose through the program. :spin:

I rooted G2 and unroot back to factory default before.. idk about G Pro 2 but G2 is freaking easy as compared to Samsung phones.

Hi Thanks for sharing.
I did some search and it look to be more easier on LG as compare to Samsung. :)
This is especially so with so many changes on Samsung 4.3 ROM and it bootloader. A couples of things will need to be taken care of.

Not sure on the rooting on the LG side as this will be my first LG phone and I would like to be sure. Still a novice on LG device and thus seeking the advice over here.

If you enabled the auto sync with notification for some apps like email or other social apps, and yet you also enabled the rear power button LED notification, that will drain battery more as the flashing LED in the front and back consumes more battery juice.

You can switch off auto sync data to minimise notificatiin when go to bed. That way, it preserve battery life.

Or, you just disable the rear power button LED, that minimize the consumption of battery juice over night.

Anyway, I don't do that as I'm quite okay already with the battery life and I have a fully charged spare battery with me all the time. :)

I can see your packaging box is different from mine. Did we buy from the same supplier?

Same seller. ;)

The seller might have gotten the case from different suppliers instead thus the difference in packaging. ;)

Since you are using a phone with removable battery, it is good to take full advantage of it by having an original desktop charger and spare battery.

The 2 items costs about $80.00. It is just about $3.33 extra per month if you hold your Pro 2 for the next 24 months. ;)

It is still very economical. Nothing costly at all and yet you don't worry about low batt. most of the time.

Is it tight? I bought 2 transparent one (clasy and imak), both felt very filmsy and not tight like nilkin:(

I have used IMAK, this one is likes a virgin. Confirmed and chopped tight as every bros love to have. ;)

That's why I have dumped my IMAK case.

I find this one is a better fit than my Imak. If you want perfect fit, get Spigen ultra fit crystal clear..

Anyone successfully updated their rooted G Pro 2 to the latest firmware from LG? Any workarounds?
