Do some simple maths will derive at the answer.
How many HD TV and electrical appliances can the
company sells per year and how many people will buy
a new one to replace the old when a new model arrives.

TV and electrical appliances don't break down within a year,
do they?

LG philosophy is to provide us with a better life, so they got
to continue making innovative products which they did.
We are all grateful for their efforts and sincerity.

But the revenue from selling mobile phones simply had
to put the CEO and his creative team to revamp their
marketing strategy.

We have all the fear of a under specs for G4 because
LG refuse to release the full specs immediately and instead
doing it bit by bit to create excitement among potential users.

Here are the news released, a capable processor engine,
a high end screen matching the best in the market and
a f/1.8 lens for superior photography even the professional
photographer will have to admit it is really good.

Also LG mentioned that the interface will be different to
get users a more exciting experience. Most probably there
will be two models with one at lower internal memory.

However the most silent killer will be the successor to
Pro 2 where rumours were created that the Pro series
will not to be continued. Rumours are indeed for people
to think what they like. :s13:

Not to look at the pass is the current worldly wisdom,
why are the educational institutions learning about History?
Why are newspaper digging into the past of records of
success?

LG did not have the foresight that the mobile phone is
going to be the future of financial success for the company
until the American giant Google produced Nexus.

But did the American has the technology to produce the
entire mobile phone by itself? Who did it work together with?

I would rather not look at the past because I'm am an early adopter of LG mobile phones. Bought it a few times and definitely then it really deserved the name LG Lousy Goods.

Why is the g4 not using SD810 but SD808 instead?

Most probably they dont want people to complain about the CPU throttling in 810... Im very keen to see how the 808 perform, although on paper it is a notch down the 810:s12:

LG is last time samsung when they just release their Galaxy series phone but as time pass by they are getting more pricy, now LG pricing still quite friendly

Tmd Samsung is ridiculous, they think too highly of themselves. I will not support them after my S3 died a few days after one year mark and no more warranty. At least LG not so expensive and my friend's G2 still surviving well till now. LG is quite budget friendly, not breaking your wallet yet getting decent high specs :s12:

I hope LG will not copy Samseng high pricing strategy to suck consumers dry. Their qc needs a big check up! :vijayadmin:

LG pricing is cheap.

Wouldn't say LG is cheap, but rather priced about reasonably right. Cheap = xiaomi.

If the LG G4 was actually ready a few months before but they didn't want to clash with Samsung and HTC, then I say they are stupid. I couldn't wait long enough for the G4, and so I opted for the S6 instead, despite its numerous shortcomings.

Had the G4 came out together with the S6, I would've thought twice. And if I knew the camera of the G4 would be better than the S6 (and we still don't know yet), I would probably hold off on the S6. Too bad they're revealing too little, too late.

Samsung took the lead in the Android market while LG is
still sleeping. Then when Nexus came in, LG starts
to wake up and produce the G2 followed by G3, the Pro One
and the current Pro 2.

They have to price its mobile device below that of Samsung
else they can't push up the sales. Samsung has the command
of premium price because when they came out with the
Galaxy Note One, the world was shocked to have such a
wonderful product where you can take notes with a pen.

LG phone now quite reasonable like their G3 & G Flex 2 as long as you dont mind wait awhile after they launch than you purchase definitely cheaper price than their SRP

Agree, i think Note saved SS. Note 2 was really popular by then as many people couldn't get enough screen estate, esp old folks. My mom loves big screen as she finds her old S3 4.8" screen too small. Ultimately changed to Note2. That's why LG is also coming out with Note I heard! Can't wait to see this since they really max out the screen with very little bezel gap :s13:

LG quite lucky to get Nexus 5 fr google with free advertising of it's brand, which in turn helps to push LG G3 sales volume and surpasses S5 if my memory didn't fail me.

Hannor. My friend duno wanna get G3 or G4 as he keeps complaining his xiaomi no space to download apps. Price is sensitive, so if LG has the right price, it can sway people over. Maybe they should revamp their UI, since I heard it can get sluggish at times?

Now, almost every flagship phone is super fast, sometimes idk why they keep pushing higher chipset, just add in 3gb ram the apps sure fly le. 90% people only use the same basic functions - call, whatsapp, fb, youtube and some games anyway.

at least they are not over price like samseng and fruit phone

my thoughts exactly :o

One year seems a little too early. Is there any app that can accurately report the health of the battery?

Maybe i should buy one just in case oos.. :p

If you don't overcharge the battery for too long, it could
easily last at least two years. But after a year the battery
will begin to weaken.

Don't listen to all the crap that you must charge it for
at least 8 hours for your new battery before using it.
The new battery is already almost 50% charge when it
is in your hand. Check the date, make sure it is newer
than the one on your phone.

Charge it using your Pro 2 up to 100% and then keep
on charging it for another 15 to 20 minutes.
I followed this instruction given by the experienced users
here in this forum. The old battery in my phone is still
perfect after almost ten months of use.

The wiser move is to get one extra battery for standby
and you don't have to carry your power-bank with you.
I got a new extra battery from Service Centre just two
weeks ago. Now I can use my phone with much more
confident that it won't die at least for a full 12-16 hours
of use. :):s22:

I use the phone a lot so after one year, the battery feels weaker even though battery life is still decent.
