The ball is round, so every player can move it to any
direction for his own benefits.

From metal casing, leather cover, waterproof suite to
adding more Ram, fluid UI to even inflating it to a larger size.

It is everybody's game.
See who is smarter, fitter, more versatile and faster
to score with the help from their creative team mates. :s13:

The one burning question in my mind is, "When will the G Pro 2 get the Lollipop update?!"
very high chance you dont get to see LG G pro 2 the update, LG sure prefer you purchase the LG Gflex 2 or upcoming G4 so that they can earn more profits

The Samsung camp really is keeping its toes up for there
is only three days left before the launch of the G4.
Do you know why?

Their sales of S6 is not up to their expectation and now
they suddenly come up with a great strategy....giving
away the S6 edge free!

The reason is simple, to stop LG to take the lead when
the G4 is out. They must have known that their s6 is
no where up at par to match the G4.

Put it this way.

If LG priced the G4 about the same as S6/E, then technically and practically, one should go for G4 with it awesome f1.8 camera, bigger display of 5.5" as well as removable battery.

Furthermore, the plastic or leather casing is more durable to drop impact comparing the all metal/glass of S6/E.

Here are some of the areas where the flavour goes to G4:

1. Stylish looking with its unique leather curvy cover
(the first kind in the world).

2. A battery that is much powerful than the 2600mAH.

3. The first phone camera with a f/1.8 lens for extraordinary
low light photography adding more value to its laser focus.

4. No previous G3 owners will never want to have this latest
phone of the year 2015 out of their hand. Not surprising
this may include those from the Apple and other camps.

The list goes on, and just three days more, the cat has to
come out of the bag. Wow! :s12:

Just came back from LG Service center. Left my LG G Pro 2 for repair.

But got to show proof of purchase when collect, only then they validate my warranty. Otherwise, will treat today as last day of warranty.
Now got to find receipt le.

Call you seller/shop to retrieve a copy.

My Pro 2 warranty has expired in early April 2015. Pray super duper hard now not to give any issue until my G4 Note pops up in Q3..:D

I had visited repair centre last year after 6 months of usage, to replace the camera module foc. That, I wasn't even realise that my Pro 2 camera was faulty (over-exposed) since day one. LOL!:(

Not to your notice, there are many brothers in this forum
that will tell you they came from the S & A camps.

You can see how Samsung and Apple execute their strategy
in promotion and advertisment for the s6/s6E and iPhone 6
and the iPhone 6 Plus.

The sum spent is paid by the consumer, as it is added on
to the price of the products. So those who think they are
paying for top equipment with premium price is worth it.

As the saying goes it does not mean than a cheaper
price product is not as good in quality as the higher
price product. End users will give testimonials. :s22::)

Some day, some where, there will be a smile for all those
waiting for LG to catch up with the S pen.

Though there are many who own the Note 3 or Note 4,
not all will use the S pen frequently as a "must use" kind
of accessory/feature.

However, things, mindset will change as technology
and keen competition among the players to have a better
slice of the cake. They have no choice but to keep on
moving and progressing in such rapid space.

This may happen soon either in a different
model that will be launched later after the G4 or perhaps
embedded in as the prime feature in the Pro 2 successor.

Who knows best, only the mastermind of each team
in the competition isn't it? Any brothers know whether
LG had previously came out with the S pen/writing instrument?

Yes, manufacturers always do it this way.

Otherwise, who will buy new stuff like the LG G Flex2?

The future trend of using the camera on your mobile will
become such a reality that nobody will dare to deny that
they don't really need to get better pictures just by using
their mobile device.

LG G4 will be the first device to take the lead, using their
own lens with the super fast f/1.8 lens.
Correct me if I am wrong, and who knows an even faster
lens of f/1.6 or lower maybe on the drawing board.

Have, people who want something bold and different from the rest. A flat screen is getting so yesteryear for watching movies on smartphones.

Surely with better technology in years to come, mobile smartphone photography will close up the gap with professional ones. The improvement we have on the sleekness of smartphones these days is a good sign! :s12:

Wish LG a successful road ahead. Hate to see Samsung smartphone brands everywhere, monopoly is bad and we need competition to keep things innovative.

Unless then is major breakthough in sensor technology, no way phone camera can take better photo than dedicated camera with larger sensor. The autofocus, shutter lag, sensor based image stabilisation, iso range, fps, lenses sharpness and many more.

Looking back on technology advancement, we saw the 1983
outbreak of Motorola DynaTAC 8000X and six years later
the smaller and portable Motorola MicroTAC 9800X.

Nothing was coming from Apple, Sony, Samsung or LG
at that time. Then in 2009 all of a sudden Apple released
its iOS power which threatens to dethrone Nokia dominance.
I was wondering why it took some 26 years (1983-2009)
for someone to realize the urge to put some efforts in the
area of creative innovation on cell phone technology?

What will happen to Apple if Steve Jobs didn't want to put
his feet down? So for the current war on building a better
camera almost similar to the capabilities of a dslr onto a
cell phone, I would roughly make a guess of at least another
ten years from now. Yet we have to see what will happen to
the cell phone industry in 2019 (five years from now).

The camera in the phones are getting better and better.

In good lighting (low iso) it can take very good photos.

It is when during low lighting (high iso), the bigger sensors shows it capability and worth.

Many people now just bring their phones and leave their bulky camera at home when they travel. Guess they are content with the quality of the photos taken by their phones.

The appeal to good quality photos differ greatly from
the view point of professionals to that of people who do
not know what is the meaning of a good quality photo,
e.g. the layman, man-in-street, and those who don't
care about what is good photography.

It will take manufacturers to come out a phone design that
can house a better and bigger sensor and include some of
the most essential capabilities of the dslr.

Of course the phone will have to be a bit bulkier to the
liking of consumers. Let see what will happen after the
release of the G4 between now and the beginning of
2016.
