Okay.=:p

After some readings and practise, I have finally understood the new features of Do Not Disturb mode and how to use the Silent/Priority/Off sub-modes.

Alarm sounds as it is supposed to be now with:

Do Not Disturb mode -> Priority sub-mode.

The Clock app must has the "Priority" box ticked 1st before that.

For the obvious reason, the only sound notification that I want is the Alarm clock sound to wake me up in the morning to go to work when I switch my phone to Do Not Disturb - Priority sub-mode before sleep at night.

Happy now! :s13:

Got it thanks!

Known issue that lollipop drains battery about 10%-15% faster than KitKat..

I can live with it.

The only thing I don't like is that the Navigation Bar anyhow change to black in certain in-apps operation which I have selected white in setting.

For example, chrome browser.

LG may wanna fix that lor.

guys .. just updated mine to lollipop ...is there really a need to factory reset it ?

Not necessary bah. Don't go through all the trouble to setup your phone and apps again.

It is my habit to do so for major OS upgrade. It is not a must. No real benefit at all.

However, some 3rd party apps are still not compatible with Lollipop, thus the Do Not disturb mode feature.

I have one app that still sounds clear and loud even though I did not tick the "Priority" box of that app.

So, be patient. Some apps may not be updated yet to work with the new Do Not Disturb mode.

All the stock apps are working fine including the alarm clock (Clock app), calender app, call and sms apps.

Okay. :D

For the "suspected rooting.." on my gf Pro 2 using the OTA method...

I switched to use LG PC Suits to do the upgrade, and it was successfully upgraded without any issue. No "suspected rooting device...." thingy pops up! LOL! =:p:)

Problem solved.

Happy gf = Happy me! :s13:

Just updated my OS too. Happy to see the same interface coming to Pro 2 as my z ultra got the update some 2-3 weeks ago. The battery drain does seem abit faster and for some reason the phone feels warmer to the touch. But other than that a good update.

Was quite itching to change to G4 when I got to play with the phone at SH shop, but this new update curb the itch. Holding on to G pro 3 news!!!
