it drops like 1% every less than 5 mins.

Which means if u continue like that, you can have around 500mins of screen on time and that's already almost 8hrs! Which is very good. Most phones can't even do this to be honest.

Never thought of it this way, but makes pretty good sense! :s13:

So far I watch video at 40% brightness for like 30 minutes, usually drop like 7% battery. 30min/7% = around 4min/% which is quite close to what's reported. 400min/100% = 6.6hrs. Around like phonearena review liao..

nice list thanks for compiling

Most welcome, bro. Helping out all the newbies like myself. :)

Using my G3 for a week, have not encountered any random shutdown as reported by some bros here. *touch wood*

Another quick question, everyone. On the Wireless Charging (some call it Qi Charging)

I just got the LG Wireless Charger WCD-100 but have not opened it to try it yet.

1) Has any one tried the Wireless Charging & any problems encountered?

2) This one might be a silly question: My G3 is in another protective plastic cover, will this affect the Wireless Charging, or must i take out the protective cover & place the stock phone on the Wireless Charger cradle?

3) Will the Wireless Charger affects other electronics nearby, especially hard-disks, as it uses electro-magnetic induction, i think. Like placing the charger next to the laptop or PC, will it cause any interference?

Will add the answers to the list i compiled earlier. Thanks everyone.

1) kind of hard to find the charging spot for G3.

2) depends on the thickness. Normal case should be fine.

3) so far it has not affected any of my computer equipment.

Tried, hard to find the charging spot. Not using any casing etc.

No idea

Don't think so

no problems with the wireless charger so far. after awhile can get the hotspot in one try.

oen problem that the charger encountered was when i was using my old HTC charger plug (3pin) the wireless connection was off and on. after which when i changed to the LG plug (2pin) the connection is smooth.

using the LG quickcircle case. nice and smooth charging with it

not sure about any electromagnetic stuff affecting

Rakuten.com.sg had a flash sale 2 days ago where the whole site was on 20% off. G3 was selling at $655 and it is local LG warranty set sold by a shop named The Mobile Hub(located somewhere in AMK). Currently, still got coupon code to get 12% off so discounted price is $720 but dont think include any freebies. Never bought from this site b4 so no idea whether legit or not.

Got my G3 this way. Including my Rakuten points accmuluated from previous purchases I paid slightly less than $600 for the phone. Damn good deal. No problems with delivery, ordered on Tuesday evening delivered on Thursday afternoon. Selfie monopod and some nobrand screen protector free.

Rakuten has 20% off storewide every now and then, that particular store (The Mobile Hub) has other models for sale as well. Good deal if you are looking for a phone without contract.

To those on other brand wireless charger, i am using the S5 one and it works fine. Sometimes when you put the phone on the charging pad it will say please move phone to better position, but after you leave it for a while it will charge. Doesn't really affect the charging speed also. Initially i thought that msg pops out means it won't charge but seems that its not the case.

I hate the wireless charger.
It keeps popping up prompts at night.

Tonight I will change it to actual LG charger and try as proposed by some people here.

Hope it goes away.. if not it very irritating.
