Strangely the amazon store app and the amazon app store app both don't appear in my google app store search. Had to install as an apk.

beside root is there any way to make the led blink faster ? mine like not normal. sometimes dont emit led at all.

Sorry bro, basically it's saying 'The device is suspected in rooting. Software update is not available for rooting device'.

Update: I saw previous post that others also encountered this issue, I will try the wired method and see if it's able to upgrade. Kindly ignore this pot. Thanks.

Just got my G3 for a week. I jumped from iPhone 4 to Samsung S3 LTE.

Didn't notice most of the concerns you compiled, which I awared before buying.

One exception: battery life. No need 70% brightness. Currently I set 40% and 4G off. Battery life can't last more than ~12 hours +/-. The battery indicator will misleadingly stays on 100% for 30min. After that fast depleting.

I encountered one inconsistency, sometime during standby, battery depletes slowly while other time it's as if you are using hp.

I haven't installed Battery Save app cos I want to test out.

My other option was either Note4 in Sept or iPhone6 5.5-inch in early 2015.

But for the price difference, "hoot" first, repent later. After all, I paid $50 extra for S3 LTE over iPhone5 and fustrated with its battery since Day 1, needed to charge twice daily.

I tried to change the dpi from 640 to 480 and phone/contact FC. I think some of the LG apps are hard-coded so can't take other DPI beside its native. Sianz!

Hey guy. Does your G3 have a side of the screen that pops up from the Bezel?

It's on the left or right of thr screen where you can press it down and it will pop up like a sponge effect

YES. Holy ****, I thought I was the only one with this problem. Mine is on the left side and it's really obvious when you try to swipe in from the side, you can feel the screen scrap against your finger.

I'm contemplating whether to bring this down to the service center but I don't know if they can fix this...

I feel you bro, i brought mine down wed got it back on sat

They replaced a new front cover - from the looks of it, a new screen too.

Problem is still there, still on left side. Tested some other units , think it's mostly on black, gold demo set at sv ctr is firm on bothsides, black demo is horrible both sides.

My new screen is yellow :(

Found in Kernel Tweaker, only Core0 and 3 are online at 300Mhz where as Core 1 and 2 are offline, is this normal? Thanks.

Contemplating bet this phe and Samsung S5. I read tat the G3 will not load some games/applications bec it's resolution is too high. Is this true??
