Before getting my G3, tot of getting Find 7 but G3 came out first so bought it.

Heard Oppo Find 7 battery life not as good as G3. Some doubt about the rapid charging may damage the battery but Oppo said it won't. It's a new technology maybe that's why people were sceptic about it.

According to HTC, rapid charging would damage the batteries and that was why it wasn't implemented on M7 (not sure about M8 as i didn't research it)

VOOC charging is perfectly safe as there are various safety precautions in place:

I traded in my find 7 for G3 cos the battery drains is very great.
