Tried using 3rd party charger also cannot charge leh....

My G3 just auto turned off yesterday and unable to turn on. After some troubleshooting managed to turn on. This morning cannot turn on again and also cannot charge, no LED light also ....Sianz.....

New or used... Sound like water damaged symptoms

New one from Singtel, just only 3 months old, never touch water b4....

Yest took out the batt, did a batt discharge and tried charging and managed to turn it on. Turned it off b4 sleeping and cannot turn on morning liao.

Just head down to the service centre. LG service is pretty honest and fast.

Tried these steps yesterday and it worked.

1. Take out the battery

2. WITH THE BATTERY OUT OF THE PHONE AND NOT PLUGGED IN, press and hold the power button for about 15 seconds.
What this does is it drains all the power stored in the phone and takes the power source away so the phone can fully reboot and refresh the power cycle.

3. Replace he battery and plug in the phone to the OEM LG Charger that came with the phone.

4. Let the phone charge for about 15 minutes then try to turn it on.

Went down to the service centre and they changed the mainboard. No charges and done within 30 mins.....

Just have to do a restore using LG PC suite tonight to get the things back.

Bought the LG original slim guard case that is very popular in XDA discussion but don't really like it. Anyone interested? Its international version, means with no cut out and also the wireless charging is supported.

Hi guys, Just bought the G3 few days ago.. I would say the phone is quite good as im yet to explore more.. Still trying to get use with the softkey button. And some other features as im a samsung user. Afterall it worth the price i paid for..

Updated with the new software version "V10i-SEA-XX"

Experience no lag but the battery juice drain quite fast compare to HTC M8 where else G3 have more batt capacity.

ive rooted my fone, so now seeking tips out there frm you guys, regarding optimizing the battery usage.

If you have any links or tips, do share with me..

Not that the g3 drains alot of batt. Just that m8 have superb battery life.

I have friends using M8 who say the batt life isn't great so I think it really depends on what u install and how u use the phone. Just asking people's opinion isn't good enough, u have to use it yourself then can really compare accurately

I owned the m8 since the day it launch. From my daily usage. The m8 have about 15-25% better batt life than g3

This phone's camera snapping speed is fast right? (from what i tried on the demo set). Anyone's have any complaints about camera?

Got my G3 for 1 month plus now, only complain is no much manual adjustment (like exposure) on camera. Have to download other camera app to use instead.

Thanks for the feedback, would you say it's fast? e.g the time between u take a pic, it processes and can then take the 2nd pic.

I tried sony Z2,Z3...the processing seems tad slow. samsung is fast i know but samsung phones are just not aesthetically pleasing to me at all (owned a S2, and the rest of the galaxy series basically looked the same to me.)

The original G3 camera app is not fast for shutter and processing speed.
