lol my screen times out too quickly when I'm reading HWZ on GAGT...

the only setting to adjust this is screen timeout is it?

or is there some other funky option that I missed out, cos I ald adjust to 1 minute, but like sometimes still damn fast black out lol

Why don't you set screen timeout to maximum duration? Then when you don't need it, just knock tap to turn it off. Save you the hassle.

I'm seriously tempted to re-contract with Singtel for this phone since its current price offers great value for a former flagship.

But after reading about the phone issues here, I'm really wondering does Singtel know something consumers don't to heavily discount this phone ?

According to reports, the G3 sold 10 million sets globally. I remembered one year ago, people went crazy for this phone. Yet it surprises me that Singtel has so much stock available to clear ? The Singtel price cut has been running for 1 or 2 months now.

So my G3 is just over a year old now... It is non-rooted and runs on Lollipop.
1 or 2 months ago, it started to restart occasionally, especially when I run Jurassic World app.

This morning, it decided to restart non-stop! When it reaches the lockscreen it immediately restarts and goes back to the LG logo again.

Any advice here?

As of now it doesnt even reach the lockscreen... It reaches just the 2nd LG logo with the animation and restarts... (

Do a factory reset should fix the problem

I uses Smart Screen in the Settings > Display. It will make the screen stay on when it detects your face.

maybe cos I read GAGT in the dark lol, smart stay can't detect my face...

BTW is the hairline crack issue still happening for newer G3 sets?

just go to XDA and download the SEA 20A ROM and then let it go through OTA update to latest ROM
