LG

LG was actually the first maker to push Android 6.0 Marshmallow out, as previously mentioned, with G4 owners in Poland (and South Korea, subsequently) enjoying an early taste. Unfortunately, we don't really have information on when the update will roll out globally. LG's last year's flagship, the G3, is expected to get the same treatment in Poland, supposedly starting sometime between the 16th and 18th of December.
I hope the last part of your post is indeed true. Waiting eagerly for it. :D

G3 battery down recently. Keeps boot loop just on the battery. But it works when charger is plugged in... service centre no stock. Shitty service.

Battery seems to be a very serious problem for g3, anyone's battery still working fine after 12 months? Need some good feedback.

Sent from LGE LG-D855 using GAGT
My G3 battery recently died (after using 1 year 3 months). The phone went on a boot loop (keep on restarting) until you leave it on charger (restarts after unplugging). From there i suspect is battery problem, so went down to LG service center to test battery (diagnosed as dead) and bought a new battery at the spot ($38 before GST). Thankfully no data is gone.

I also did a factory reset to chase the nightmare scenario away and the OS have removed its bloat!

Now my phone is back to its prime battery life, where 1 hour usage only drop 4% battery life.

It's my 1st LG phone, and 1st time encountering a dead battery. Luckily repairing is relatively easy so I still support LG!

Anyway I received a notification for new software update. Any problems with this update?

Same battery issue! Unfortunately battery OOS. Damn ridiculous. How can a service don't stock up a decent amount of spare batteries to cater to existing users?

Went to buy non original battery, of course it's not as good as the original.

Last time my phone keeps rebooting too. I thought is due to SIM card. Actually the rebooting stops after plugged to a wall charger or powerbank.

Usually battery degrade by charges storage but LG just go boot loop.OMG. Just brought 2 original spare from ebay sell send from sweden, and is genuine manufacture date Sep-2015. Happy back to life again and battery seem last like before. :s12:

Found this change log online:

apps/framework - removed LGDefaultAccount - added Ims (+ framework) - added LGLTECall - added LGMemo - updated all LG apps and more
binaries - updated various binaries (wifi, sensors, storage, etc) - added ipsecclient & ipsecstarter
libs - stagefright fixed - nfc & bluetooth updated - audio libs updated - LG libs updated (ims, parser, etc) - lots of other libs updated
other - new audio codecs' improvements - lg singleca enabled

But I personally do find that when I pull down the notification bar now it really seems smoother. At first I thought it's psychology but I tried and tried many times and I remember clearly before this the notification bar used to roll down jerkily. And found other users that comment the same also in Reddit.

I got the infamous battery issue too

Infinite boot loop. Looks like their battery quality really cmi and that is what keeping me from getting the nexus 5x

Any idea if G3 is going to get 6.0 . It will be such a waste for a phone still with plenty of legs if it doesn't.

Seems like the battery drain during standby is less than the last version as well.
