I tried using lg pc suite but when i selected "upgrade after backup", it run till 100% after then it show cannot backup !!!.

It's because lollipop don't support backup in lg pc suite? Or should i run upgrade without backup?

Any advise ? Appreciated.

It will work without the need to backup.

Don't really need the backup feature if you have your stuff backed up regularly.

I wrote to LG Singapore yesterday and surprisingly their staff called me this afternoon. He recommended me to use backup function inside the phone to backup to the SD card then use PC suite to grade to MM by selecting " Run upgrade without backup" .

i just flashed manually to latest MM with october 2016 security updates.
reinstall all my apps, feels like a new phone again.

Not sure bout others but my phone kena bootloop ever since i upgrade to mm. Nevertheless, a chane of battery, and the phone is working fine again.

Any issues after upgraded to MM?

I did not use the Backup in LG PC Suite when I upgrade to MM. I just backup my phone manually because I intended to perform a factory reset after I upgrade to MM.

My previous feedback.

I am on v30b - an upgrade from Lollipop to Marshmallow.

I did a factory reset after the upgrade. The battery life seems to be better but the auto brightness is very inaccurate and a lot of app permissions settings (like Windows Vista).

Not sure bout others but my phone kena bootloop ever since i upgrade to mm. Nevertheless, a chane of battery, and the phone is working fine again.

The bootloop issue is probably due to the battery as I also encountered it and resolved with a new battery.

Hello all,

for those who has problem with battery causing boot loop, will you be able to give your battery to me?

I had same issue and managed to fix with one of my battery but not really successful with the other one (yes I had 2 original batteries), battery that I had fixed succesfully is now running fine for several months

so I want to get other problematic battery and to try to fix it to satisfy my curiosity

please kindly pm me if you have one to spare, thank you in advance

yap..no OTA update for sg yet so many G3 users using LG PC suite to do the upgrade and the process is simple .

never buy them from qoo10 unless you can verify the authenticity.

Qoo10 alot of fake LG products. Some even have hologram... very hard to verify....

Best is to buy the battery directly from Lg sg
