Great so far, the only thing I want to pick on is that the phone gets hot after prolong usage. But then again, which smart phone doesn't..

Nowadays, telco reps (and electronic shop reps like challenger or Harvey) generally have poor knowledge of their stuffs.
You can easily have more info than them by googling or checking out forums for 30mins...

Worse of all, some of them doesn't even know how to smoke out

you will never know! G2 got updated to kit kat, so G3 might get updated to L

theres 4.4.3 and 4.4.4

if it takes 6 months for LG + carrier to update, thats easily a year already.
