You know what is my biggest disappointment?? They took away the "menu" button. How I have to spend an extra second to hold the "recent" button to get the menu. 1 day I lose 10 secs. 1 year I wasted 1 hour of my life!! siiiiaaannnnnzzzzz....

Bezel refers to the plastic part, does not include the black area between the bezel and the display.

G3's black area is indeed wider than G2, but I think it is for a reason. If it is too thin, the screen may be accidentally pressed by the palm while holding it.

Personally I think wireless charging is a bit gimmicky. At least I can still pick up and use the phone if I'm using a USB cable.

True. The feature is more useful in a powerbank

Perhaps your friend's G2 is white color? 'Cos the last I saw the white one, it does have that illusion, black one maybe not so much.

Share the reviews on the G3 leh. Camera good? Is it too sharp for the screen as I see it is a problem for G3. Battery life good? Battery get heated easily?

I'm a Z2 user. Now considering if giving up Z2 for this G3 is worth it or not.

Hi, coming from a ex z2 user. Think I can share with you my experience. Depending on what you looking for. So far for me

Camera z2 win G3 , not by much but the overall expect of quality and function the z2 bring more to the table. (20 mega pixel vs 13megapixel)

Battery I will say z2 win g3 overall we are comparing with 3200mah vs 3000mah. I might be bias here but Xperia device(z1/z2/ultra and t2) really has one of the best battery out there in the market and even m8 or s5 lose in this expect

Screen both the same too me. Equally good and clear neither over color saturated or too sharp as someone state

Over heated issued g3 win z2 .I will say z2 tend to have this problem more. With g3 the only time I encounter was playing game continuously. I never had camera shut down disuse with g3 but yes with z2 due to overheat

Value of phone same. To be honest nowaday people change phone like change cloth. If you looking at value then better off buying a Apple(till date they still have the best trade in and resale value then any other mobile brand) and get envy at all the new android gadget releasing every now and then.

What most important is get something you like and never look back. I did the switch and yes I do miss certain function and stuff from z2/m8/s5 but hey this g3 really surprise me in a lot of way too. At least for now g3 will stick with me for another couple of month before I got hook on another device .

Now this year almost all Android phones doesn't have menu button anymore like S5, Z2, M8 etc.

Most apps have their own menu button now, accessible via the 3 dots. A dedicated menu soft key is getting redundant day by day. At least LG bother to map the menu to the soft keys still via press and hold.

Hi all
Am seriously considering the G3 as my next phone, have some questions which I hope to get feedback from the current users...

1) does the G3 enable installing of apps on the SDcard without need of rooting?
2) how is the charging speed when plugged in to say original wall plug charger? Can it achieve full charge from say 5% to 100% in like 1.5 to 2hrs?
