I saw someone posted here about the auto shutdown issue a week+ ago and I happily replied 'no issue with mine' and kanna the next day (my 3rd or 4th day of usage) XD lol (me & my big mouth)

Software is up to date and I my G3 was rooted.

Have yet to factory reset though.
Guess I, LL, have to do so now... tonight or tomorrow night then...

Its been 3 days since my G3 last auto shutdown over the night, called up Singtel about the issue and they said my 7 days replacement window already passed so need go down LG service center instead.

I would recommend you go for 1 for 1 exchange before 7 days pass.

DS batt saver is an xposed module meh? Thought it's an app? You're referring to Deep Sleep Battery Saver right? This one ?

Daydream

Anyone know how to activate Daydream when charging?

I switched it 'on' under the settings but It didnt show up when charging wirelessly using the LG wireless charger

yes same one but i saw it on xposed and downloaded the module there.

There's no laser setting to change. It's always activated in the camera. It's an infrared laser, if you look into the laser module, you'll see a faint red flashing.

I wouldn't recommend looking into anything emitting a laser....

I was the one who mentioned that.

I realised if set passcode to pattern it won't auto shutdown already.

Anybody having problem setting chrome or any other browsers as default app to open links from fb or Twitter? The pop up kept appearing repeatedly when I already hv the checkbox checked.

it's normal , disable either one of the browser will do

it's like a fraction of a milliwatt of laser power. it's safe.

You mean online? Choose smartphone and then LG D855. Cannot find LG G3.
