Yes ridiculous isn't it. Went all the way to the beach using gps then reach there couldn't take any photos because it was too hot. It allows you to take one shot then tell you camera is shutting down as to prevent overheating. If you Google this you will find many users face this problem with the z2.

After waiting for more than a month without any fix I sold it off. OMG. Z3 will be launched not too long in a few months and I'm still holding this z2.

You should have thrown into the sea to let it cool down to take picts :s13:

I have one particular work pants where the fabric lining of the pocket is either so thin or mildly conductive such that the handphone will without fail keep activating the wrong knock on when the screen is facing my knee, such that after 5 mins of walking and I take out my g3, it will ask me to reset knock on code due to it activating wrongly too many times.

But I blame my pants for that. So I threw that pants away.

aiyo... just get a flip cover lah...

I can only think of one possibility. You hit the power button that turned the screen on in your pocket ,not the double tap..

Nah. The double tap is a problem which people around the Internet has brought up. My friend tried tapping the phone on his shirt sleeve and it turned on! So the chance of that happening in your pocket is also high. I want to disable it but G3 do not have that option which is crap.

Did u guys purchase the full version of the G3 Tweakbox...?

I was using the beta and still have my settings intact (although they are greyed out) in the final version. Will purchase when it stops working. Awesome stuff :s12:

This is my usage pattern, that's why i am pretty happy with it. Out of the 47min screen on, about 20min is playing games. The rest are FB, text, etc... It's much better than the Note3. Got use or not, the battery continues to drain.

Have to say G3 performs really well on standby mode. Problem comes when screen is on for long period, it drains battery faster than most phone

depends on the app you are using. check the cpu total and cpu foreground under battery usage for respective app. best is no gap of time between both.

Just put the phone with the screen facing away from your leg. let the screen face the front.
