Not sure if true, especially when Singapore upgrades to Cat 6 LTE officially.

Even if they release cat 6 LTE, it doesn't mean that LG will bring G3 cat 6 in. It depend on their marketing policy as well. In any case, even if they do, G4 will probably be out in a few months later.

My personal feedback after using this phone for 2 weeks.

- Battery life was impressive and better then my previous Samsung note 2. I didn't even fully charge when I started using it. It was able to hold at 100% for 2-3 hours even I do some surfing, sms & emailing. Notice that when watching video it will drain battery faster.

- IR and Quick remote app was useful. So many brands of manufacturer you can set up with.

- Phone is very responsive and so far encounter no lag or hang. Only problem is with messaging due to apps problem but that has been resolved after re-backup.

- Still trying to get use to the vol button behind the phone. When watching video its difficult to reach the back of the phone just to adjust vol.

- Double tap to off phone is useful. Don't need to use the power button at all.

Now waiting for my cool quick circle casing to come to try the function. without opening the casing.

Questions:
1) Does LG have any apps like Samsung where you can track, ring & disable the phone if its lost?

2) Anyone using wireless charging? Is it worth to get and where to get it cheaper.

So far I know G3 has the following issues:
Random auto shutoff, overheating, screen color not as vivid as other flagship models, slow software update and fastest price drop.

If using the stock video player, you can actually scrub up/down on the right half of the screen. ;)

Then left half of screen controls the display brightness. Scrub left and right is video seeking.

very impressed with my battery life too. the standby consumption is phenomenal. i left it untouched for 11+ hours, overnight received a few whatsapp messages and other notifications. morning used it to reply messages and do some light browsing. 12 hours of usage, the battery is still 100%. i don't know what to say.

in reply to question 1, i came from an s3, and while samsung has their tracking service, i found google's own android device manager sufficient for my usage. can do all the above -- track, ring, and disable. similar to apple's find my iphone solution.

im using the free wcd-100 wireless charger that came with my phone. heard others say it is problematic, but so far i have no issues with it. definitely charges slower than wired (qi chargers are slower anyway), but still fast enough for me. i didn't time precisely how long it takes to reach full charge, but based on my agaration, i would say, around 3 hours. (ps. im using the quick circle case).

i have the US$49 nexus wireless charger too, and this lg charger is so much better that im using it to charge my nexus 7 too.

I think LG has a collaboration with McAfee anti virus app that has this track and kill function. My friend installed that.

It's not supposed to do that. Think you never position the phone properly at the correct contact point bro.

Could be your case. Try taking off your case and try.

The one with the kill switch is supposed to be preinstalled into the G3. My G3 doesn't have any McAfee program preinstalled and if you download it from the Play Store it's just the normal version with no kill switch function...
