Yes, turning the audio jack at a specific angle works, until you turn it again. Will be quite difficult to do inside the pocket!

What a really annoying issue and thanks for pointing this out. Searched around and couldn't find an explanation.

Do you think this is a hardware issue or a software one?

I believe this is a hardware issue. When I plug my normal earphone without Mic it can't work as well. Usually I can use the phones Mic when my earphone doesn't have a microphone.

Got it from adix. Though ex but good. No scratches, fingerprints easily wipe off without cloth..

It won't be as smooth as G2 as the SD801 is powering 2K screen instead of the common 1080p (which it is supposed to be optimised).
Unless SD805 is powering the G3, it won't be as smooth as the other flagships.

but the g3 cpu is 2.5 instead of 2.24 in G2. CPU speed should be more directly related to the smoothness and not chipset rite?

The screen timeout keeps reverting to 2min upon reboot. Had set it to 30s. Anyone got this prob?

Likewise for the auto brightness as well. Upon reboot, auto brightness would be unselected.

Im using spigen tempered glass.. Love it alot.. I try out a few brands which very easy to get finger print.. A high end phone should go for a high end tempered glass. Rather then cheap product

Very my g3 got a scratch mark on the battery cover. Using spigen hybird case..

I also have the same problem. But i guess, the issue cropped up after the V10e update.

801 is essentially a heavily overclocked 800. With around 30% better performance. But the screen resolution between G2 and G3 is 1.8x more. And hence the noticeable difference. Not everything is about processor clock speed. If things were that simple, you will still be running pentium 4 processors now :x

Trust me, after u pasting this spigen Tempered Glass u wont regret.. i even use a pen knife to cut hard also got no scratch... you can put it and try out the different...

Me updated to V10e. But didn't faced any of the problems u mentioned.

Bro, use penknife no use one.. u might as well be using tissue paper to try to scratch it. U see all those youtube videos using keys, pen knives etc, all wayang to the max.

The real test is using a grain of sand or a piece of rock.. if that one don't scratch then it's really good stuff.. but don't try it la.. cos i'm 99% sure it will scratch..

Haha.. This is how i alway demo to my customer who willing to buy tempered glass..

But freaking speaking spigen its a very good product.compare to others cheaps brand.. This want i going to share with ppl...

I think LG G3 has a headset glitch since the update. Keeps detecting my earphones as headset (with mic). As a result keeps randomly launch voice mate and resumes music
