hmm yesterday night try again after updating to j from the LG suite. 1am is at 91%, wake up at 6.30am drop till 78%. one whatsapp came in in between.
haiz. maybe my batt is too new (3rd day). hope after few days of using the batt it shows improvement.

if j is good, wait till you try L. battery standby is superb. the LG UI is also smoother imo. But I am now using Nova launcher, and it is much smoother than the LG UI.

4 hours off the power adapter, some screen time to sms, google now, FB, etc. battery still showing 100% now.

Last night batt comparison, my G3 went from 100 percent to 85 percent after playing 2 hrs of games on wifi, my older note 3 even after battery replacement went from 100 to 70 percent, guess the G3 really trumps in the batt dept.

The only advantage to update via PC is to remove root. I'd prefer OTA because the update file is very much smaller than PC.

updated my rooted I version via pc suite, all done in about 15 minutes. root was removed but no issue, just used purpledrake and root it again. no data loss or whatsoever.
