G3 has hardly any bloatware like Samsung, so it is pretty good. I don't feel any significant lag on this phone. Overall it is a great phone for the price. Got many colleagues and friends that bought it too and everyone is happy with it. :)

Hey guys.

Using the G3.
Does your G3's screen slightly "pop" up from your bezel?
I.e. to say you can push it down and it will bounce in alittle?

Yes, on the left side. I went down the service center and they replaced the screen but it's still the same. I'm using the black G3, my friend's white G3 doesn't have this problem. If you go into the telco stores and play around with the G3 phones there, most of them will have this problem as well. Really pisses me off.

LG G3 slow to charge. Takes in less than 1A despite using chargers and cables that i have tested which could output at 2-2A

Try using a newer cable. I was using my original s4 charger and cable and had the same problem. Turns out the cable had degraded and was just drawing less 0.5A even although the adapter was rated higher. I didn't take care of it well enough.

thanks. maybe i should get a new cable to try it out.

ok thank you for the reply! can the bloatware be disabled? I had a HTC before and it came with twitter, TalkBack and a whole lot of useless apps. couldn't disable or uninstall them.. I rooted my Asus fonepad to remove bloatware before but can't update the firmware after that :( one of the reasons why I don't like to root my phone, quite troublesome

Using original charger and cable, the phone is charging at 1.38A max and slows down when the battery gets closer to 100%. You are probably not using the original charger and cable.

Even at 1.38A is much slower than Samsung 2A charger.

Sadly, as i have said both my cables and charger are proven to go up to 2A. Think you probably have to read what i've typed before jumping conclusion

Yes, they can be disabled. I would say that the amount of bloatware is minimal compared to other manufacturers

The charging current is controlled by chip set. It can't handle 2A. Peaks at about 1.5A.

This phone is quite fussy about the cable and charger used.

also got the official lollipop last night via pc suite. First boot up takes quite long, turning and turning at the LG screen.

So far I feel quite smooth, going to wipe and encrypt the whole thing with new micro sd card this weekend.
