On the contrary, the phone should be faster if it has less animations. I disable all animations on my phone and it is almost as fast as my pre lollipop nexus 4

not too sure how to describe it.

but when my animations are turned off, apps launches with a slight lag and user experience for me is abit sluggish.

but when animations are turned on, when the animation is doing its thing, the app is loading in the background. even though the animation only last a few micro seconds, but the app is ready to go after it fully launches.

i find it a better user experience.

Phone dropped from bed side. Saw crack line across the screen. Panic. Upon closer look, it's actually the temper glass screen protector which was crack. Whew.

Went to the service centre and they downgrade back to kitkat for me
Hey, what did you tell the service center staff regarding your downgrade to KK? Will they do it simply for the reason that the user prefers KK?

Yes. They'll do it for you as long as your phone is not rooted. For me, I had enough of the lag and bad battery life from Lollipop. Pop over to the service centre and everyting was done within like, 15mins. Depends on the crowd oso.

Okay thank you! Think I will be making a trip down for a down grade to KK!

Edit: hey, so need to backup all data on phone because they will do a factory reset to KK? No other ways as to not wiping data right?

Anybody encountered network cutoff when off the screen.
I noticed the signal bar refresh from off when I turn on the screen.
Also the 4G network sometimes not on. I need to restart phone.
Im using 5.0 android without rooting.

dont tell me you are on M1?...

i am facing the same issue...but only the 4G network issue. you dont need to restart phone but just go to mobile network there set your prefer network from LTE to WCDMA,GSM then set back to LTE.

Yup. They will always wipe off all the data on your mobile. Better to backup everything before going down.
