Battery life seems to have stabilised after a few days. It is definitely better than V20B.

The mobile network bar is now in gray off bar status after turn on from airplane mode. I need to make a call then the bar resumed to full bar white color.
Is that lollipop prob or hardware issue?
Maybe I need to go service center ask for exchange.....

it seems that it's a hit or miss for V20C. There are some who get good battery life and some who get worser battery life than 20B.

Hope you guys can answer in the following format

Firmware version: 20B / 20C
Factory reset: yes / no
Roughly how many hours of usage until kaput

My battery life on 20C started to become very good after I switched back to 4G. Previously I permanently set to H+/3G to help reduce battery consumption. But somehow or rather, it wasn't very good at all. I tend to see the data network keeps communicating (arrows light up) even when I'm just reading a website. When I switched back to 4G,the battery life became stable and standby time very good. No hard reset done FYI.

Guys, how much a brand new G3 will fetch if I recontract and sell it...?
I don't think there's much value to selling a G3. Why not try selling iPhone 6? I did that to buy my red colour G3! :D

But I'm thinking of to buy an off-contract Moto X. Just a thought. (Bloody hell Singtel raised the G3 price from 358 to 398 to now 458!)

Buy ip6 then resell and use the proceeds to buy a g3 or moto x. Reason being ip6 has the highest resale value

i agree. It seems to be very efficient in power consumption under lte bands (supposedly the more advanced band) - probably a quirk of newer drivers and kernels

Comparing side by side with Hspa+ there is a noticible difference

Adding on powersaver on 100% it turns into a 6am to 8pm monster

I agree with the rest to not buy a G3 now and sell. Resale value not so good cuz a lot singaporeans still don't trust LG yet (I also took a leap of faith to switch from my S4, not disappointed). Go recontract with an iphone is better.

Dirty-flashed to AN HD 9.3, but it was so laggy. Clean-flashed thereafter and didnt have any issue.

Quite alot of differences between 8.0 and 9.3.

Recommended for all to make the switch.

By second thought, I may recontract/upgrade and just use the G3 as I'm not into iOS and my ideal choice Moto X is not on telco. I'm just holding on to observe feedbacks from recent firmware updates and am thinking it may be the time now. I'm currently also using an S4...

The point we are trying to make is. Recontract an iPhone6 64gb with telco and sell it to Mobilesquare for 1k. Buy a brand new lg g3 from the same shop for 650. U should easily make 100 bucks in cash instead of recontracting directly with telco for a g3

Alternatively, opt for Note 4.

I just recontract with a note 4 and sold it the next day and made few hundreds dollars pocket money.

Coz note 4 is very easy to sell unlike the flooded supply of iPhone in the market.
