Kenna hairline crack on phone Sian. Did a search and found its a common problem for g3. Am I able to go to singtel or LG to get a replacement?

hmm, I heard that LG v anal about purchase receipt, not sure if true, if have maybe can bring down and ask them fix or change

You have to go to LG Service Center with the hardcopy receipt.

Yup. Other manufacturer allows softcopy as long it looks legitimate.

to those who have owned the phone for some time.. is this a very common issue? so what happens after the 1 year warranty is up?

anyone got problem with the camera after software update? my photos taken with back camera always got this mist like thingy like using photo filter. front camera working fine thou

so i went to the service centre during lunchtime to check on my 'watered' g3. the cs opened up the phone and mentioned that both the pcb and display need to be replaced. since it was submerged with water. the back of the pcb and the connectors are corroded. those damages are the obvious ones. he did not check the kamera and the speaker.

to replace both items will cost abt 500++. sian. told him its abt the same price as new g3 lei..freaking sian...not even a year spoilt liao..

possible to replace both outside?

heard it's from the first batch of phones only. i preordered it so it fits.. give them the benefit of the doubt first. if replacement still crack means rly something wrong alr

Nope. Maybe you need to clean the camera glass?

the mist come from the camera internal? mayb condensation when u came out from a slightly lower temp room?

As i have mentioned before, electronics after in contact with liquid might as well get a new 1. No point repairing. You would now know what parts are affected.

Battery life is better with 20c but not as good as KitKat.

Having said that, battery life will degrade with times. It will always be the best at the first few months. I don't think it will ever be as good as KitKat as a result of this

not sure whats wrong lens is perfectly fine

if i use flash the picture looks like that got a misty frame

if nv use flash then still ok
