Hmm... Batt life for me easily last one full day moderate use. Think battery life is very subjective since we all have different set of uses. Plus office workers don't usually worry as they can charge during work. For myself i 100% leave for work moderate whatsapp, ig, fb, bus app, web browsing etc. Finish work still left at least 50%. Now almost 11pm still 20-30%. I think if watch video on bus will drain even faster. Overall imo most phones perform similarly in battery performance and the difference is negligible. Unless like Razr Maxx can last few days very imba.
i had the phone data off...and within hours, drain bad.
No activities..imo, its bad :(

other wise, I do like this fon, as it did drawn to me to get it.
(despite low resale value)

Thinking of changing G3+ m8 for M9

Can I ask what telco u use and general area you live? Sometimes the poor reception of the mobile network can cause battery problems.

Some apps that you installed must be running in the background and draining your battery. If I leave my phone alone overnight even with 4G on, the phone would only drain a few percent of the battery.

Agree with this. If other G3 users have excellent batt life and yours drain fast then must be something wrong. Do note that if your area bad reception that cause serious batt drain because your phone non-stop trying to search and connect 3G 4G.

Also like samson said could be the apps you installed too. Do a check if any app is draining the batt more than it should.

Hi, I'm having trouble with my G3's earphone jack. When I plug in a pair of regular earphones (no mic, inline controls, etc.), the phone most of the times detect it wrongly and the little headphone icon in the status bar shows a headset (earphones with mic) and slight knocks will make it do stuff like start playing music, etc.

And now, I recently bought a pair of XiaoMi Pistons, earphones with mic and inline controls, but most of the time the inline controls don't work. At first I thought it's a problem with the XiaoMi earphones, but I tested it with the stock Quadbeats earphones that came with the phone and still same problem.

The first problem was a common one as I found many people has the same problem online, but the second...not really, so is it a common problem or just a problem with my phone?

P.S I'm still on Kitkat btw, didn't update cos I'm worried the lollipop update is still unstable.

Talking about this, XDA seems alot of people with hissing sound on certain music (not all) when using headphones. Do any SG users here have similar issue ?

Have they tried the same music on LG G3 without headphones and/or different devices?

Anyone knows where I can find a red G3?

Carousell. I saw one used there.

I really can't get around to the poor and dull colour contrast of the g3. I really want to get it but it looks really really poor. I have went to adjust the colours under accessibility and placed the circle above the camera but it is still pretty poor. :(

Icons are dull, even in cm12 in videos i've seen. Went to challenger to see it for myself and it's just a huge deal breaker.

I'm looking for something that is not as fake as the samsung amoled displays but not as dull as the g3's. Any help guys?

LG is one of the leading manufac for ips screens and they supply to other brands like iphone etc. I dont think theres any phone out there that has better screen than this. For contrast issues its mostly lcd vs ips vs amoled. Amoled having the best contrast by a fair mile while sacrificing readibility under the sun. Among the phones with ips i feel no differences.

That said, i suspect your issue could be brightness since brightness is psychologically related to contrast. G3 auto-brightness i feel is on the low side so perhaps you can check the phone out again but this time switch off auto-brightness:)

Recently got this phone...so far loving it but i noticed when i play games like clash of clans it starts to lag abit like the graphics is abit choppy. Never happen to me before when i used other phones. It should not lag right as lg g3 is a power house and coc is not a graphic intensive game. Any suggestions? Must i root it to solve this issue? Will doing a reset helps? Thanks.
