Already Force Stop quite a number of Apps running in the back ground but help a bit only...

Any ideas how to roll back to the previous version before update to this latest version ?

Actually a hard reset may help. But I would rather do it after 6.0 update.

Battery draining is due to lollipop...mine is still on kitkat and battery life is still awesome after a year plus...

We had the same problem in Pro 2 and also having the same
idea of rolling back to the previous version.

But after using for more than a week, some brothers here
mentioned that the battery life is back to normal. So I went
on with the upgrade and truely after using for more than
a week the battery went back to normal. I hope you can
believe this and be patient to enjoy the new upgrade.

I have the same software version but I did not encounter the same issue as you.

Did you check which app(s) are draining your battery?

Hi guys, my LG G3 suddenly turned off by itself while i was taking a phone call this morning. And when it reboots, after the LG logo it went into a blue screen for a few seconds and reboot again to LG logo followed by blue screen again and again.

I tried a google search and this seemed to happen in US a lot, with no solution yet. Anyone here experienced similar got a solution? Thanks very much in advance!

The truth sometimes hurts and yet people cannot get

These 2 are the most common apps people are using. We all use the same things before and after the firmware update and notice the difference. It's not that after the update then people suddenly start to use Facebook, Whatsapp and complain about battery life. Who is stupid?

As I said earlier that before the update/upgrade to the latest software it was working fine without "turning off" apps that are running in the back ground...

So don't talk something that is not useful...

Having this G3 when it was first launched....

Hi guys,

After 4 days of usage, i feel that this battery does not perform as good as the original battery that came with the G3. Personally, i think it is not an original.

I think it looks fake.
The official battery has more logos (8 logos from my old G3)
Also this telephone number I don't see either.
Also the name of that company Technohill...I don't see it in the official G3 battery either...

Mine was fine before this recent update. Was Lollipop too but the thing is I did factory reset before use as I got my phone when L was already released. No battery draining no phone warming up.

I'm prepared for another reset after M update. High chances issue will resolve.

It would be more useful if you show photograph of its side
that has the the contact points.

Most non original stuff especially fake battery will show
some differences in the contact points.

i realise mine is slightly different from urs in wording. but when put side by side to original batt u cant tell the diff cos the pins exactly the same right down to the 4 tiny micro dots on 1 of the pin

Mine Pro 2 original battery that comes with the phone,
may look different from the G3 battery, anyone can have
a comparison between the Pro 2 vs G3?

From the photo comparison and similarities often used
in all original LG batteries, the fake one seems to have
them missing.

Example, the re-cycling number is missing and all the
nine logos are not there except those miserable four
which are not so important.
