If LG priced the G4 about the same as S6/E, then technically and practically, one should go for G4 with it awesome f1.8 camera, bigger display of 5.5" as well as removable battery.

Furthermore, the plastic or leather casing is more durable to drop impact comparing the all metal/glass of S6/E.

You can see how Samsung spent on their strategy in
promotion and advertisment for the s6/s6E. The price
is paid by the consumer. So those who think they are paying
for top equipment is worth it. As the saying goes it does
not mean than a cheaper price product is not as good in
quality as the higher price product. End users will give
testimonials.

I actually don't think I'll use the spen at all. So I kinda wished it wasn't there coz it takes up space and adds to the weight, albeit slightly.

Majority of users don't use the S Pen at all.

To the minority of users who use the S Pen frequently, then it is worth.

As an ex Note 3 user, I do missed the S Pen. I do use the S Pen reasonably often.

There are people who go for 5 inch phones claiming 5.5 is too big and 4.7 is too small.

Value for money wise, LG G flex 2 is the cheapest snapdragon 810 phone in the market but i don't see a lot of people using leh

Dunno why it's not a popular phone here. Also the reviews on youtube not v good, say got overheating issues.

The flex 2 only came out in January 2015 and 4 months later
LG is launching the G4 the successor to G3 which had a
proven wider appeal worldwide.

Both Samsung and LG got to learn about the non-removable
battery issue. Nobody is keen when it is known that G4
will be just like G3 with removable battery.

Samsung s6 and s6E will fall flat like flex one and flex 2.
Then for this simple reason, sales of G4 will shoot up
according to their prediction of achieving 10 million units
to be sold in time to come.

We are watching out if this is going to be a reality.

Personally, I look forward to any smartphone within a 5 to 5.5" screen size. Or maybe I should say, as long as my average daily pocket can fit the phone... then I have no major complaints other than heavy weight.

Imo, iphone 6plus is pretty heavy for a 5.5" screen as compared to G3 and G4. No good for holding if too heavy, especially at bed when reading before sleeping.

4.7" is too small these days.

4.7" like the z3 compact feels really good in the hand to me. I'm cool with that. But 5" is the best for daily activities and youtube videos too.

Maybe it has something to do with marketing and people past experience with LG. LG product was known to be of lower quality and the bad experience at service centre.

Yup. Samsung is smart--opens experience stores in SG and also booths in Popular, Best Denki, Challenger etc... really maximises exposure.

Honestly, apart from telco shops, I hardly see any LG phones around. If LG wants to succeed, it needs to invest in stores, etc. to make it more well-known.

IMO unless LG has a processor that can match the S6, and has much better battery life, it's hard for them to price on par with the S6. Software-wise, despite how bad TouchWiz is, it still has features worth paying for, such as MultiWindow.

Think LG don't wanna pump so much money into marketing. Still will have ppl buy their phones one. Last time LG is Lousy Goods. Now not the case anymore.
